To build the capacity of target group
to effectively use the rights-based
approach in advocating on the rights
of women in Ghana by the year 2007.
2. To build an information
data bank on women rights issues in
Ghana by the year 2007.
3. To develop the institutional
and human resource capacities of WiLDAF
and its members to achieve the vision
and mission of WiLDAF-Ghana by the year
2006.
4. To develop and establish
relationships and linkages with women-focused
institutions and individuals in Ghana
by the year 2006.
5. To expand areas of
operation to cover four (4) Regions
in Ghana by the year 2007.
6. To design and develop
sustainable sources of funding for WiLDAF-Ghana
by the year 2006.
Strategies for achieving
above goals
a. Increased and more
efficient and effective advocacy on
rights of women nationally and internationally.
b. Increased research
in more areas to enhance the quality
of advocacy and legal awareness
c. Re-organise and re-structure
the human resources base of the organisation.
d. Developing stronger
networks to better influence policies
at both the national and sub-national
levels.
e. Expand the geographical
spread of the organisations area of
operation to two other regions.
f. Expand the funds
mobilisation base of the organization.
g. Design and develop
a database and documentation centre
on women rights issues nationally and
internationally to facilitate advocacy
activities.
